The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has finalized its list of candidates for the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad election, announcing nominees for 237 constituencies.
The names were announced on Monday (Nov. 3) afternoon by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at a press briefing following a meeting at the party chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
Meanwhile, Supreme Court lawyer and Jamaat-e-Islami parliamentary candidate Advocate Shishir Monir extended his congratulations to the BNP’s nominated candidates.
In a post on his verified Facebook account on Monday night, Manir congratulated those who received final nominations, expressing hope that they would set an example of creativity in politics and embrace innovation.
