Today, Sunday, November 2, the 121st draw of the 100-taka Bangladesh Prize Bond will be held. The first prize winner will receive 600,000 Taka.
The government launched Bangladesh Prize Bonds to encourage savings across all segments of society. These bonds can be purchased and redeemed at any time, and the 121st draw falls on this Sunday.
The prize structure is as follows:

First prize: 600,000 Taka

Second prize: 325,000 Taka

Third prize: 100,000 Taka

Fourth prize: 50,000 Taka

Fifth prize: 10,000 Taka each
For the draw, each bond in a declared winning series is considered eligible for the corresponding prize.
Only bonds sold 60 days prior to the scheduled draw date (excluding the draw date itself) are eligible for this draw. According to Section 118 of the Income Tax Act 2023, a 20% tax is deducted at source from prize money.
Prize bond draws are scheduled four times a year: January 31, April 30, July 31, and October 31. If a scheduled draw date falls on a weekend or public holiday, the draw is held on the next working day.
