Whether the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will rise or fall will be known today.
On Sunday (November 2), the price for the current month (November) will be announced at 3:00 pm. At the same time, new prices for autogas will also be set.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) shared this information in a notification.
According to the notice, guidelines on adjusting consumer-level prices of private LPG—based on the Saudi CP for November 2025 announced by Saudi Aramco—will be declared at 3:00 pm. New autogas prices will also be announced simultaneously.
The most recent LPG price adjustment took place on October 7, when the price of a 12-kg cylinder was reduced by Tk 29 to Tk 1,241.
At the same time, autogas prices were also revised. Consumer-level autogas prices, including VAT, were reduced by Tk 1.38 per liter, setting the price at Tk 56.77 per liter.
Notably, in 2024, LPG and autogas prices were reduced four times and increased seven times. Prices were raised in January, February, March, July, August, September, and October of last year, while they were reduced in April, May, June, and November. Prices remained unchanged in December.
