According to Indian scholars after extensive research, moles on the right side of a man’s body and the left side of a woman’s body are considered auspicious. Having more than 12 moles is deemed inauspicious, while fewer than 12 is considered favorable.

Cheeks: Right cheek mole suggests prosperity; left cheek may indicate poverty.
Chin: Suggests a rough or stubborn temperament.
Arms and Hands
Right shoulder: Determined and confident personality.
Left shoulder: Quick-tempered.
Hands in general: Intelligent and clever.
Right hand: Strong and likely wealthy.
Left hand: Extravagant; a mole on the back indicates stinginess.
