Advisor Asif seeks to run as an independent candidate from Dhaka-12 constituency. On Monday (3 November), he revealed this information to a national media outlet.
Asif Mahmud said, “A final decision regarding the election has not been made yet. However, if I do take part, I will contest independently from Dhaka-12 — which includes Tejgaon, Tejgaon Industrial Area, and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.”
Meanwhile, ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, the BNP has announced its preliminary list of candidates for 237 constituencies. Additionally, the newly formed political party, the National Citizens’ Party (NCP), has also released initial candidate names for several seats.
