1034 Hospitalized, 5 More Deaths Reported in Dengue in Bangladesh. The country recorded five new dengue-related deaths in the last 24 hours, while 1,034 patients were admitted to hospitals across the country, according to a health bulletin issued Thursday by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
DGHS reported that three deaths occurred in Dhaka South City Corporation, one in Dhaka North, and one in the Mymensingh Division.
Of the new hospital admissions, numbers were highest in Barishal Division: 134, Dhaka Division (outside city corporations): 188.

Dhaka South City: 171
Chattogram Division: 103
Khulna Division (outside city corporation): 55
Mymensingh Division (outside city corporation): 66
Rajshahi Division (outside city corporation): 79
Rangpur Division (outside city corporation): 33
Sylhet Division (outside city corporation): 5
Meanwhile, 901 patients were discharged nationwide in the past day. With this, a total of 72,388 dengue patients have recovered so far this year, DGHS said.
