Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdho, the twin brother of Mir Mugdho—who was killed during the July mass uprising—has formally joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman was present virtually during the induction.
Snigdha arrived at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan around 9 p.m. on Tuesday (November 4) to join the party. BNP’s media cell later released several photos of the moment on social media.
BNP Standing Committee members Nazrul Islam Khan and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Dhaka North BNP Convenor Aminul Haque, and Snigdha’s father Mostafizur Rahman were also present at the event.
