After a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin, Nasiruddin Patwari, chief coordinator of the National Citizens Party (NCP), announced that the party has agreed on the water lily bud as its election symbol.
He made the announcement following the meeting at the Election Commission Secretariat on Sunday, November 2, in the afternoon.
Patwari stated that the NCP has formally submitted a letter to the Election Commission requesting the water lily bud as the party’s official symbol.
On the same day, at around 3:00 PM, the NCP entered the CEC’s office to apply for a symbol. The party requested allocation of the water lily bud over other options, including the plain water lily and the full water lily flower.
